Your Therapy

A calm, supportive space to explore what’s brought you here.

What to Expect from Therapy

Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. My aim is to make the process as gentle, clear, and supportive as possible.

Therapy with me is person-centred, which means our sessions are led by you — your experiences, your feelings, and what feels important to talk about. There’s no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready, and no expectation to have everything figured out.

Some sessions may involve talking things through, reflecting on patterns, or exploring how past experiences are affecting you now. At other times, therapy may simply be about having a safe space to pause, breathe, and feel understood.

I will work at a pace that feels right for you.

A Safe and Comfortable Space

I offer sessions in a private, calm therapy room designed to help you feel at ease. The space is quiet, welcoming, and confidential — somewhere you can feel safe to be yourself.

For those who prefer, I also offer online sessions, providing the same level of care and support from the comfort of your own space.

What You Might Bring to Therapy

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing:

  • anxiety or constant worry

  • low mood or feeling emotionally overwhelmed

  • relationship difficulties or patterns you want to understand

  • the effects of past or ongoing trauma

  • low self-esteem or loss of confidence

  • a sense that something isn’t right, even if you can’t name it

Alongside working with a wide range of emotional and life difficulties, I have particular experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse and complex trauma. This experience informs my trauma-aware, compassionate approach to all my work.

Taking the First Step

You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy, and you don’t need a clear goal before you begin. Curiosity, uncertainty, or simply knowing you need support is enough.

If you’d like to explore whether therapy with me feels right for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch or book a session online when you feel ready.
