About Me
Hi, I am Tours; welcome to my counselling page. I began my counselling journey and Weston college, studying counselling skills levels 2 and 3. This is where I found my passion in counselling and continued with my studies at University Centre Weston (UCW) to complete the foundation degree, then stayed in education and completed the BSc Counselling (Hons).
I have a wide range of counselling skills, having worked with adults, experiencing issues such as health anxiety, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, childhood trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and domestic abuse, to name a few. I am also a trained couples/relationship counsellor.
Alongside working with adults, I started to volunteer for a charity working with young people aged between the ages of 11-26, where I would often work creatively with the use of games, drawing and sand play. Another passion of mine is domestic abuse. I am the project coordinator for a free domestic abuse charity; in this role, I run two social media platforms to post educational information about what domestic abuse is. I also run two informal drop-in coffee mornings for women to meet other people who experienced domestic abuse.
